> A High-tech Environment<

IETR is located at the heart of the Rennes-beaulieu university campus, and gains much from the industrial and science park set up there several years ago, which is now home to major telecommunications groups, public research centres, the university and engineering colleges.

>On the scientific level, the IETR takes part with the various schools and institutes present on the campus of Rennes Beaulieu (Supelec, IFSIC, IRISA, chemistry engineering colleg, ... ) with the emulation of the technopolis. Privileged bonds were woven with the research centers and small and medium-sized undertakings of high technology of the metropolis.
> In the heart of Rennes Atalante, the IETR profits, within the framework of creation of company related to our researchers, of the whole of the councils and supports suggested by the Emergys incubator. Since 1986, already 7 creations of company were born: IPSIS, Antennas Process, Siradel, R3 Research and Development, Novagrid, ST2E, SACET.

More largely, our scientific policy, as well from a set of themes point of view as technical, is supported by the various regional or national intstitutions.
